So I had a very different b-day. My most favorite part of the day was that Justis cooked dinner for me. I had planned to make Chicken Cordon Bleu which I've never made before, but I absolutely love. I told him that but he didn't care. And he did a wonderful job. It looked so good I forgot to take a picture before I ate my whole plate, but just know that it was wonderful. Thanks so much Just- I love you!!

Such a terrible mom....
So I have to show these pictures even though they tell you all how terrible of a mother I am. First up, my poor little Makenzie took a nice fall last Saturday night. She was sitting on the stairs outside and went to stand up but didn't quite get her footing and she skid across the cement. Her eye got the brunt of it. I felt so bad, but she took it pretty good seeing as by the time I took her to Justis to get her cleaned up he asked, "Did she even cry??" She did, but she's pretty tough and had it all out in the time it took me to walk inside to find Justis.
She still looked pretty for church the next morning.
Now my poor little Kaylee bug. We were able to make it to the beach when G& G came to visit us, but for some reason, I did a terrible job in getting sun screen on her. I know I put some on her face, but this is what she looked like when we got home. I apparently had her nose covered, but forgot to run my finger down either side to spread the sunscreen around. I felt so bad because it looked like it hurt so much. But kids are resilient. It didn't seem to bother her one bit and now she is back to normal.
Time with Grandma & Grandpa Dastrup...
So G & G Dastrup came to visit us over Memorial Day Weekend. It was fun to have them here, but unfortunately it rained pretty much the entire time. But as you can see from the pictures below, we made the best of things. We took them to the Aviation Museum on Post and I think they and the girls really enjoyed it. There was a Cobra cockpit there that you could get into and play around and as soon as Grandpa & Justis hopped in the girls wanted to be right there watching what was going on. It was so nice to have them here and we miss them being so close to us. We love you G & G Dastrup!
Little Susie Homemakers...
So every now and then a miracle occurs and my girls play really well together. It's so fun to see that happen and to see how they play. This day Kaylee was really into her kitchen and playing house. She had me help her with her apron and then brought the other one for Makenzie. Makenzie is good to go along with it. She just loves to be included.
Gotta love the heels!!!

Look how cute I am!!
Cheese!!!!!!
Swimming...
So we have a swimming pool. Last summer we moved here at the end of the summer and the girls and I would go to the pool. Well Makenzie wasn't big enough to swim yet, so Kaylee and I would go while Justis was in school. Kaylee loved swimming and playing in the water and all that goes with it. But this year when it got warm enough to go out, it was another story. She has been so funny to stay on the stairs or just outside of the pool. She likes to swim with her daddy, because dads are just more fun like that. So here are some of our swimming pictures, and of course mom isn't in any of them because she is taking them all.
Kaylee and Dad, splashing.
This is what Makenzie likes to do at the pool. Put her feet up and relax.
She really isn't too fond of the water.
Kaylee slowing getting into the pool.
Don't you just love the suit?? It's my younger sisters who is now 17.
But check out those legs. I love em!!
