Please Respond...
So to all of you incredible bloggers, how do you get your cute headers with cute pictures of your kids, husbands and all the fun stuff too?? I have tired one way that a friend once told me and I just can't seem to make it work. So if you know how and her is the key, how to help me understand it, then I would much appreciate you wisdom. Thanks so much!!
Famliy
So here is my cute little family. Over Christmas when we went home to Utah we got our pictures taken with my entire family and I really wanted one of just my little family and this is the best we could get. I know that Kaylee looks like she is drugged or something, but she just wouldn't smile. It was pretty cold too as you can imagine, but Makenzie held up well through it all. I was happy to at least get a smile out of her.
I just want to say that families are great. With Justis' job, there I times that I get to be the mom and the dad. It's not easy and it really makes me appreciate having him around so much more. I notice how much he really does do. Plus just to have that friendship means so much. I love my husband and all that he is and has sacrificed to get us where we are today. We have been so blessed to be able to have many wonderful experiences, two that especially stick out in my mind-Kaylee & Makenzie. And I know that we are going to have a ton more awesome experiences.

The Bridge...
So I have come to that wonderful bridge in life that all mothers eventually get to cross. Some with the help of their husbands, and others on their own. It's known to many as Potty Training. UGH!!!
We decided that maybe it was time to start potty training(pt for short) Kaylee. She was showing signs that made us think she was interested in taking on the task. She didn't care to be in messy diapers any longer that it would take her to make the mess, and she liked to wear big girl panties, signs like that. Well, we started the other day. Things weren't going too bad. We of course had accidents, especially since Kaylee was watching a movie. But we caught on quickly to have her sit on a towel on the floor, and I would ask her just about every 10-15 min if she needed to go. She would sit there starring at the screen and say "nope." Just like that. Then the moment would come when she would turn and look at me with this "uh-oh" look on her face and we would dart for the bathroom. The first couple of times we didn't make it. Then we finally had success. She started to go and she could tell she was going and she got a surprised look on her face, and I started the praise. I was so excited that it had finally happened. We've played the Kaylee needs to go potty game in the past many times, and it was just that, a game. But the other night when she actually went, it was so exciting. That success continued for the next time as well, and then it was bed time and we new we had to go back to the diaper. The next day followed about the same. Some accidents and some success. But today has been the kicker. Justis went to work today, so I'm on my own right now with this task. Justis said it very well last night we he said, "...with your attitude and my independence in her, we are in trouble." He wasn't kidding. She's been a little stinker about trying to go today. She won't even hardly sit for 2 seconds. Now my goal through this whole ordeal was to try and stay as calm as possible. I knew there would be accidents and setbacks, but I didn't take into consideration Kaylee's little schedule. She has such a pressing one, and I'm interrupting by having the oddassity to think that she would take time to go to the potty. Hmph!! So we were back into the diaper by noon. Only a little sooner than I had planned since nap time is at one, but none the less, today's step onto the bridge has been a frustrating one.
So my plea to all of you other mothers who have crossed this bridge and found success, how did you do it?? What were your methods? What worked, what didn't?? How long does it take one to cross this bridge?? (I'm searching for an average to give me some hope) If you don't mind taking the time to share some free advice from one mother to the next, this mother would greatly appreciate it.

Smooth as a babies...
So a few days before Christmas, while my husband and I were packing our girls were playing nicely in their room. It had been a while, and I asked Justis where the girls were. As I was heading to open their bedroom door, he told me they were playing and to leave them there. He said that I always shoot myself in the foot when I go searching for them because then they will stop playing and start following me around. So for once I listened to him and continued packing. Well as more time passed, I decided it was time to check on them because they were too quiet. Justis opened the door and I followed to find Kaylee's cheeks were a pasty white color and the smell of Desitin lingered in the air. I was about to start getting after her when my sweet little Makenzie looks up at me and her cheeks are just as pasty white. I couldn't contain my laughter any longer. It was too cute a moment to pass up. So we had to have proof, and here it is.
