On April 8th we got a nice surprise. Makenzie Mae Dastrup was born about a week early. Everything went great with the delivery. She came out in only 2 pushes!! Weighing in at 7 lbs 13 oz and 21.5 in long. She had a head full of dark, slightly curly hair. Perfect as every new baby is. We have really enjoyed this new little addition. Kaylee has taken on the role of big sister very naturally. She loves to stand on her tippy toes and peek in to Makenzie's crib. She calls her "Z." It must be the part of her name that stands out the most. She also loves to hold her and help wipe her face off with the burp cloths. It's been a lot of fun to see how she has taken to this new little person that has come and stayed.
